I'm Jane Tucker.
I'm a florist,
and chicken owner.
I hail from a large farm in Arkansas where my parents still raise beef cattle, can all the tomatoes and cut hay in the summers. Chickens and a giant dog named Gus will greet you on the driveway if you ever get the chance to visit. You would be mesmerized at the beauty in Arkansas.
Kansas City has now been my home for the better part of a decade and it truly feels like where I'm supposed to be. I met my brawny husband through my gardening client-turned-Mother-in-Law and we bought a little orange house in South Hyde Park a couple of years ago. This is home now...all 4,500 sq.ft. of land on my hilly, oneway street. Settled is a good feeling, don't you think?
So, as far as flowers go, I love them. Their colors and shapes and smells can make me tear up in a hot second. I started arranging flowers in college and once I knew I had a knack for it I didn't want to stop. Which brings me to right now. With the help of some amazing friends and some quality training, I can fairly say "this is what I do". Flowers: seemingly created just for the bees and our very own enjoyment. They really just feel like a gift. That, my new friend, is what I want them to be for you on your wedding day. Something totally gorgeous and unexpected. Better than you had imagined; at a price that feels like a gift.
